Icche Putul actor Mainak Banerjee complains about airport cops

Mainak Banerjee, who became a household name after playing Souranil in the serial Icche Putul, did a Facebook live on Friday night and complained against Airport Police Station. The actor said that he and his wife were heckled by the cops. 

Mainak had several lives after 11 PM on social media. He and his wife were seen being aggravated in those videos, and they were arguing with some cops. Then the actor explained the incident. 

Mainak said in the video, “I went to receive my wife who was coming from outside Kolkata. I stood by gate 1B. She saw me and started coming towards me with a big suitcase when a policeman stopped her. He started misbehaving and talked rudely. When I went to her, I was treated the same way. Then we wanted to leave the place, but that person blocked our car.”

In another video, an exasperated Mainak said. “Our car is held by the police. They are saying that they will take it to the police station and lodge an FIR against us. They are not stopping any other car. They are doing this only to us.” He also named the cop. They tried to go to the Airport Police Station, as was shown in the video.

Mainak is acting in Icche Putul, along with Shweta Mishra and Titiksha Das. It tells the story of two sisters who are in love with the same man. Mainak previously acted in several films and serials like Dhulokona.
