On Thursday, the makers announced that Fahadh Faasil has joined the sets of Idhayam Murali.

Idhayam Murali is an upcoming Tamil film featuring Atharvaa Murali in the lead role. The film is currently under production, and marks the directorial debut of Aakash Baskaran, a producer in Tamil film industry. A video of Fahadh Faasil joining the sets of Idhayam Murali and interacting with team members was released by the production. While the details on his role have not been revealed, Idhayam Murali is touted to be a romantic drama and Fahadh Faasil is expected to play a key role/cameo in it. Fahadh Faasil, who was last seen in Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira and Maareesan, has a few films in the line-up, with the next release planned to the multi-starrer Malayalam flick Patriot.
