IIFA 2022: Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon take home best actor and actress trophies; see full winners list here

The International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) are one of the most coveted awards for the Hindi film industry, recognising the best of the best works and talent that has come out throughout the year. This time around the IIFAs were held in Abu Dhabu, UAE with the same amount of pomp and show that the ceremony showcased pre-pandemic. 

The green carpet was rolled down for the stars who were convening for this awards show after a long hiatus, as both the 2020 and the 2021 editions were postponed in light of COVID-19. 

Among the top winners were Vicky Kaushal (Sardar Udham) and Kriti Sanon (Mimi), who won Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively. Sardar Udham also won two more awards on the technical front. The other film that won the most awards after Sardar Udham was Atrangi Re.

Best Music Direction – A R Rahman (Atrangi Re) and Jasleen Royal, Javed-Mohsin, Vikram Montrose, B Praak, Jaani (Shershaah)

Best Male Debut – Ahan Shetty (Tadap)

Best Female Debut – Sharvari Wagh (Bunty Aur Babli 2)

Best Story Adapted – Kabir Khan, Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan (83)

Best Original Story – Ludo by Anurag Basu

Best Supporting Actor Female – Sai Tamhankar (Mimi)

Best Supporting Actor Male – Pankaj Tripathi (Ludo)
