Ikkis Box Office Collection Day 5: Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan, stars Dharmendra, Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat, and others. Ikkis is a 2026 Hindi biographical war film about India's youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, focusing on his bravery in the 1971 Indo-Pak War's Battle of Basantar.
Starring Agastya Nanda as Arun Khetarpal and Dharmendra as his father, M.L. Khetarpal, the film weaves between the battle and his father's journey to Pakistan years later, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The story contrasts Arun's short, heroic life and sacrifice at the age of 21 with his father's poignant journey to the battlefield decades later, exploring themes of courage, loss, and compassion.
At the Battle of Basantar, Arun showed his exceptional valour, destroying enemy tanks and sacrificing his life at the age of 21, for which he was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. The core story celebrates Arun Khetarpal's extraordinary bravery and selflessness. It explores the shared experiences and humanity between soldiers on opposing sides, highlighting the value of war beyond national borders.
