The actor was missed, and fans could not hold excitement as they expressed happiness on social media. It is reported that Imran will make his comeback with a Netflix film, and Bhumi Pednekar will star opposite him. Bhumi, who is gearing up for the release of The Royals, addressed the rumors of her starring opposite Imran.
During the trailer launch of Netflix's The Royals, Bhumi Pednekar was asked whether she is starring opposite Imran Khan in the latter's comeback movie. Reacting to the reports, the actress said, "I never speak of anything until it’s officially announced." The actress neither denied nor approved the news, and that made netizens confused. Only time will tell whether she will star in the film or not.

PeppingMoon reported that Imran will make his comeback with a Netflix film directed by Danish Aslam, best known for directing Khan and Deepika Padukone’s 2010 rom-com, Break Ke Baad. The report also mentioned that the film has been titled Adhure Hum Adhure Tum and is labelled as a dysfunctional romantic dramedy. As per the portal, not only Bhumi but also Class fame Gurfateh Pirzada will star in the film.
Bhumi is all geared up for the release of Netflix's rom-com series, The Royals. Co-starring Ishaan Khatter, the series follows the interesting love story of Prince Aviraaj Singh, a royal heir, and Sophia Shekhar, a modern CEO.
Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, The Royals also features Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday, Vihaan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora, Lisa Mishra, and Luke Kenny. It will land on Netflix on May 9.
