Imran Khan's girlfriend Lekha Washington opens up about their relationship - 'Being mutually madly in love is...'

Bollywood actor Imran Khan has been in a relationship with Lekha Washington for a while now. The actor hasn't shied away from talking about their love affair. While Imran confirmed dating Lekha sometime ago, the actress has finally spoken about their relationship. In a new interview, Lekha revealed she and Imran are 'mutually madly in love'. She further opened up about the part that she cherishes in their relationship.

In an interview with Money Control, Lekha Washington opened up about her love life with Imran Khan for the first time. "In this cynical world, to live and grow together with someone whilst being mutually madly in love is a rare gift. It is also hard work. The part that I cherish the most is our ability to talk things through and evolve into, hopefully, better versions of ourselves. The excellent posterior is a bonus," she said.

Earlier, Imran addressed the speculation about him being romantically involved with Lekha. The actor also spoke about the narrative of Lekha being a 'homebreaker'.

"I’m divorced and have been separated since February 2019. There’s this narrative of Lekha being a homewrecker, which infuriates me because not only is it misogynistic, but it also takes away my agency as an individual," he told Vogue India.

Imran Khan's comeback and past projects

Meanwhile, Imran Khan is ready to make a comeback in films. It isn't known which project will mark his comeback into the industry. Imran is rumored to be a part of few projects. His last theatrical release was Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut in 2015. The actor made his debut in Bollywood with Jaan Tu Ya Jaane Na. He shared screen space with Genelia Deshmukh in the film.

Some of his past projects include Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Kareena Kapoor Khan, I Hate Luv Storys with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with Katrina Kaif and more.
