As Indian cricketers began their preparation for the clash against Australia, Virat Kohli, who has regained his form, received a sweet gift during his net session in Mohali.

The 33-year-old, who had his practice session at the IS Bindra Stadium got a handmade painting from a fan.

The video was released by Punjab Cricket Association on Instagram in which a female fan can be seen presenting a portrait of Kohli to the star batter.

Other cricketers including Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were also spotted entering the stadium to gear up for the practice session.

Talking about Kohli, the batter has always been in the spotlight - whether he is in form or not. After over two years of not scoring 100, the former captain smashed his maiden T20I ton in the Asia Cup 2022 clash against Afghanistan.

He had finished as the second-highest run-getter in the tournament with 276 runs in five innings.
