It is not possible that an India vs Pakistan game can go without any controversy. The same happened during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Super 12 clash, especially in the last over.

The issue took place after Virat Kohli was awarded a no-ball during the edge-of-the-seat thriller.

Soon after talks around the same started doing the rounds on social media with fans from both nations arguing why they were right.

However, amid this, an image of Nasser Hussain emerged on Twitter with a message that read, "The umpires made some weird decision in favor of India today. Maybe we should keep quiet and not upset ICC and BCCI."

While many believed that the former England cricketer made such a statement, Hussain came forward and called out the netizen responsible for this act. He even asked the person to delete the tweet immediately.

The cricketer-turned-commentator said that it was indeed fake news. "Probably best if you can delete this please .. it’s fake news and a fake quote and definitely not what a great game of cricket like today’s deserves !! Thanks," he replied.

Talking about the match, the no-ball saga took place on the fourth delivery when Mohammad Nawaz bowled a full toss.

Kohli dispatched the ball into the stands but also urged the umpire to signal a waist-height no-ball.

After a brief deliberation, on-field umpire Rod Tucker signaled a no-ball much to the dismay of the Pakistan team and the fans. Babar Azam and his teammates did go and talk about the same, however, the umpires stayed with their decision.

Thereafter, Nawaz lost the plot as he bowled two wides and conceded the advantage to India. In the end, Ravichandran Ashwin came in and hit the winning one run as the Men in Blue won by four wickets.
