IND vs SA: Ahead of 1st T20I, huge Virat Kohli flex board erected outside Trivandrum stadium

In form or not, playing or not, even captain or not, the craze from Virat Kohli does not seem to diminish soon. In fact, his fan following presides over borders. Ahead of the 1st T20I against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram, fans have started pouring in their love for the Men in Blue.

The team landed in Kerala and will be playing an international game after a gap of three years, the players got a rousing welcome from fans. The video of the same was shared by the BCCI.

However, talking about Kohli, he got a little extra love as some of his fans erected a huge flex board of him outside the Greenfield International Stadium.

Not just that, the fomer captain also has his poster already in Melbourne, as the country of Australia await for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

Talking about the clash against the Proteas, Thiruvananthapuram will host the first T20I of the three-match series. 

The Men in Blue had already began their World Cup preparations on a winning note after they won the series against Australia at home 2-1.

The series against South Africa will see the hosts without two of their key bowlers - Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar - who have been rested for the World Cup.

World Cup-bound Deepak Hooda would also be missing all the six games - including the ODIs - before the mega event after he suffered a back injury. Shreyas Iyer is expected to take Hooda’s place in the squad.
