Gone are the days when fans, dogs and birds used to interrupt a game of cricket as the 2nd T20I game between India and South Africa saw the match stop due to a SNAKE.

The second game at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati saw the match take a stop as the players all came to a side to allow the snake to pass by.

The snake had entered into the ground and the start of the 8th over was delayed. However, soon, the reptile was taken off the ground.

Netizens enjoyed the small interruption of the game and took to Twitter to talk about it.

As for the clash, India lost the toss and was asked to bat first. Openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma have provided India with a solid start as India after 9 overs have scored 96 runs and lost a wicket.

KL Rahul is inching towards his half-century and skipper Rohit, who was also not far behind had to depart for 43. Both the players had dealt in boundaries in the first powerplay.

The Men in Blue will be looking to win this game and the series, especially after not winning a series against the Proteas at home.
