It goes without saying that RRR’s historic win at the Oscars this year has made the nation super proud. And joining in on this country-wide celebrations is none other than the biggest actor in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan.

The whole of India is currently in the midst of soaking in the momentous Oscar win as the winners continue to attract high praise from all corners. From prime minister Narendra Modi to the biggest names of the film fraternity, such as Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Yash, among others, have been swept up by the Oscar wins with 'Naatu Naatu', 'RRR' and 'The Elephant Whisperers' becoming the latest and most trending buzzwords on social media.

"We win! We win two! We win for country and people! We win !! Bharat ka jhanda gaad diya, videsh mein (India has planted its flag, abroad)! OSCAR 95," Amitabh Bachchan tweeted.

For the uninitiated, Indian film The Elephant Whisperers has won the Best Documentary Short at the recently concluded 95th Oscar Awards, while Naatu Naatu song from SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR has won the Best Original Song trophy.

The veteran actor is currently recovering from an injury which he had sustained on the sets of his upcoming film Project K during the shoot of an action sequence.
