The shoot for Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's vigilante film, Indian 2 is going in full swing. The film, directed by Shankar, stars an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Gulshan Grover, Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Delhi Ganesh, Guru Somasundaram, Vennele Kishore, George Maryan, Manobala to name a few. The latest we hear is that the next schedule is all set to begin in Tirupati this weekend and that the portions comprising Kamal Haasan and Siddharth will be shot there.

Now during the promotions of her upcoming film, Chhatriwali, Rakul Preet, who is teaming up with Kamal Haasan for the first time, shared her experience working with the Ulaganayagan. The Doctor G actress said that Kamal Haasan would arrive on the sets as early as 5am in the morning because his prosthetics would take at least four hours to get done, and that he would be ready for the shoot by sharp 10am. After the packup at 6pm, he would spend another two hours removing the prosthetics. She added that Kamal Haasan'ss passion towards cinema is unmatched.

Calling Kamal Haasan an institution himself, Rakul Preet told Pinkvilla in an interview, "I feel very lucky that I have got an opportunity to work with him and Amit ji. They are institutions and they are films. The Indian cinema belongs to them. Out of 60 years of Indian cinema, they have been there for 60 years, I think. It's amazing. It inspires and proves that there is no shortcut to success. You have to be driven and so passionate about your work. That's the only way you can reach that kind of legendary status."

Indian 2 will have Kamal Haasan reprising his iconic character, the freedom fighter and vigilante Senapthy. The film is a sequel to the 1995 film, Indian, which also starred Kamal Haasan and was directed by Shankar.
