Indian Idol 2 on Aha: Oscar winner, RRR fame Chandrabose to make a special appearance

Indian Idol is one of the most popular shows in the country and the Telugu version was brought to us by the noted Telugu streaming platform Aha last year. Hosted by Hema Chandra, the show's second edition is currently on and has received an overwhelming response as it perfectly hit the right chord with the Telugu speaking audience.

To take things further, Aha has now roped in Chandra Bose, who won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Naatu Naatu" from the Telugu film RRR. He will support and cheer for the Top 9 contestants. Joining Chandra Bose will be Telugu playback singer Rahul Sipligunj, the voice behind "Naatu Naatu". As a talented musician, Rahul's presence on the show is a nod to the importance of breaking barriers and creating opportunities for budding artists.

Taking the legacy forward of celebrating the music, this new chapter, produced by Freemantle, Aha is continuing its quest to find Telugu's next Indian Idol. The show is already casting a melodious spell on the audience and the episodes streamed have got a solid response from the viewers.

In the past, stars like Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nani and Baba Sehgal have graced the show and given a new high to the show. In the days to come ,more popular stars will be gracing the show. Geetha Madhuri, Thaman, and singer Karthik are the judges of this film which is nearing its completion soon.
