Indian Matchmaking Season 2: Sima Taparia feels Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are 'not a good match'; here's why

It's that time of year when Sima Taparia from Mumbai has come back on the Netflix screens with Indian Matchmaking Season 2. Touted to be one of the leading matchmakers, she travels from India to the US to find suitable grooms and brides for her clients, who are diverse. One of the clients who continue to be a part of the series is Nadia, the Indian descendant who is also Guyanese.

In the second episode of Indian Matchmaking Season 2, she is seen talking to Sima Aunty regarding her newfound attraction to Vishal, who is about seven years younger than her. This doesn't go well with Taparia, who asks her to turn down the guy as she can't be older than him. While trying to justify it, Nadia talks about Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, as the actor is older than her husband by a decade.

Sima's response to it came as a shock to many, but they all burst into laughter. The matchmaker is heard saying, "But I don't feel it's a good match. Sorry to say that. It's not a good match. They are just married, but it's not a good match. He looks so small and petite in front of her, and she looks elder."

Earlier, The Sunday Times asked Priyanka if Nick and her 10-year age difference were more difficult to bridge than cultural divides. Both weren't obstacles, the actor claimed.

She said that, like a fish to water, Nick adapted to India. One must, however, comprehend one another's customs and preferences just like any other pair would. So rather than trying to figure out obstacles, it's more like an adventure. Nothing was actually all that difficult.

The second season of Indian Matchmaking dropped on Netflix on Wednesday, much to the excitement of the people who watch it as a guilty pleasure.
