In October 2023, India witnessed the crowning of Samarpan Lama as the winner of India's Best Dancer Season 3. The talented young dancer won Rs 15 lakh cash prize, while his choreographer, Bhawna Khanduja, earned Rs 5 lakhs. Exciting news awaits as India's Best Dancer Season 4 is set to start with auditions scheduled for May 16. Be ready for fresh talent discoveries and another amazing show this season.
India’s Best Dancer Season 4
A fresh promotional video of India’s Best Dancer Season 4 was shared by Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV today. In the video, we see the entertainment portal announcing that auditions for the reality show will commence on May 16.
“Agar aapki har saans mein hai dance aur dil me hai dance ki dhak dhak, toh kismat de rahi hai dastak! India’s Best Dancer 4 auditions starting 16th May onwards. Dekhiye India's Best Dancer Season 4, sirf Sony Entertainment Television par #IndiansBestDancer #IndiasBestDancer4 #IndiasBestDancerSeason4,” wrote the channel on its Instagram handle.
The names of the show’s celebrity judges have not been revealed yet. Sonali Bendre, Geeta Kapur, and Terence Lewis were the judges in the previous season.
Auditions in Kolkata will be held on May 16, followed by Delhi on May 18 and Mumbai on June 1. Shivanshu Soni, who was a participant in India’s Best Dancer Season 3, has reacted to the video by dropping a fire emoticon in the comments section. Further, he excitedly wrote, “Let’s Go!”
Anjali Mamgai, who became the first runner-up of India's Best Dancer Season 3 which aired on Sony LIV, also commented, “Wohoo!”, with a bunch of fire emoticons which clearly signaled her excitement towards the show.
What happened in Season 3 of the dance show?
It was at India’s Best Dancer 3 in October 2023 that a Pune-born talented young dancer; Samarpan Lama made a name for himself. In this competition, he competed against other strong contestants such as Shivanshu Soni, and Vipul Kandpal-Aniket Chauhan-Anjali Mamgai who are his equals. The words “exceptional abilities” and “artistic talent” would fit Samarpan perfectly in this case since he expressed both. Samarpan received the winner’s trophy as well as prize money of Rs. 15 lakhs at the end of the competition. To add charm, Govinda is also featured in the final episode.
