Indori Ishq trailer: Meet Tara’s obsessive lover

The trailer of MX Player’s upcoming original web series, Indori Ishq, was unveiled on May 28. The show starring Ritcik Sahore and Vedika Bhandari in the leads, deals with a modern Devdas who cannot get over his lover.

Kunal (played by Ritvik Sahore), moves from Indore to Mumbai. Much to his surprise, he gets into a relationship with his childhood crush Tara (Vedika Bhandari) and lives a fairytale life. All goes well till one day he has to face the truth - that Tara is not the person he thought she is, and that theirs was an unrequited love story.

Still blinded by her love, Kunal goes to all lengths for his obsession. In fact, the trailer also addresses him as a fool.

Talking about his character, Ritvik had shared, “If you notice, the rules of love are different for men and women. My character Kunal is ridiculed for ruining his life over Tara, who has been unfaithful to him. But had the tables been turned - the world would have berated him for ruining a girl’s life. I believe that in a relationship, there are two equal halves who need to make it work and the blame or the responsibility should be equally distributed. At the core of it, this is a story of innocent young love and promises that were meant to be broken.”

Apart from Ritvik and Vedika, the show also stars Aashay Kulkarni, Meera Joshi, Tithi Raaj, Donna Munshi and Dheer Hira in key roles.

It is slated to release on June 10, 2021. The show can be viewed on MX Player for free.
