Indubala Bhaater Hotel: Jayati Chakraborty says she recorded her song twice with a sequence that has already been shown

On Tuesday night, veteran singer Jayati Chakraborty expressed her disappointment in deleting her song from Subhashree Ganguly’s Indubala Bhaater Hotel. However, director Debaloy Bhattacharya clarified that it was not removed and will be in the next part. On Thursday, the singer again took to her social media and posted her concern. 

In a long post, Jayati said that the song she recorded was with a particular sequence. While recording it, she saw the sequence and that part has already been released. Instead of her song, a new voice sang the same song for the sequence. She further added that he had no intention to voice any protest against the director, music director, or the platform. She expected a courtesy call from the makers that her song was getting replaced. 

Meanwhile, Debaloy clarified that Jayati’s song will be there in the second part of the series. After the release of the first four episodes of Hoichoi on March 7, the culminating four episodes will be dropped on March 24. While talking to OTTplay exclusively, Debaloy said, “I can assure you that Jayadi’s song is there in the series and it will be shown in the upcoming episodes. All I did was change the sequence and could not let her know about that. She has beautifully sung the song and it is out of the question that it will be omitted. I am a fan of Jayatidi and there is a creative reason for asking her to sing the song.” Besides, Jayati's song, Ami Eka Chini, will be released independently as a music video.
