Innocent star Althaf Salim's next film is with 150 newcomers; Here's more about it

The pooja ceremony of Althaf Salim's next film was held in Ottapalam of Palakkad district in Kerala today (November 6). The untitled movie, which marks the directorial debut of Yatheendran, will also star 150 newcomers in its cast.

Production on the movie started in Ottapalam on November 6 and will include 150 new faces chosen through auditions. The director, who worked with renowned filmmaker Kamal, wrote the script for the movie. The film's female lead will be played by Krishnapriya. 

Ashokan, Aziz Nedumangad, Abin Bino, Rony David Raj, Gokulan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Anand Manmadhan, Vineeth Viswam, Kumar Sunil, Jayan Raja, Praveena, and Sheetal Maria are among the other well-known actors who will play supporting roles. The cameraman is Arjun Akkot, while the editor is Akash Joseph Varghese. The soundtracks for this untitled project are being composed by Prince George. It will be released in theatres in 2026, according to the makers.

On November 7, the actor's most recent movie, Innocent, will be released in theatres. The movie's soundtrack and background music have been composed by Jay Stellar. 

Althaf Salim's most recent film, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, is available on Netflix. After its theatrical and OTT release, this romantic comedy drama, which starred Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the key parts, received mixed reviews.
