Filmmaker Karan Boolani was on cloud nine yesterday as he celebrated his 41st birthday in the presence of his family and friends. Besides Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, the filmmaker’s birthday was made extra special when the cast and crew of his recent film ‘Thank You For Coming’ paid a quick visit to his residence and greeted him on the joyous occasion.

What’s buzzing?

While the birthday celebration took place yesterday, a bunch of videos of the occasion have gone viral on social media today. In one of the videos, Karan can be seen cutting the cake happily in the presence of his wife Rhea, and sister-in-law Sonam. Bhumi’s voice can be heard in the background.

Observably, Karan was wearing a comfortable white t-shirt with grey pyjamas. Sonam was looking elegant in a multi-colored dress. Rhea wore a black T-shirt with matching pyjamas.

Actresses Shehnaaz Gill and Bhumi Pednekar shared glimpses of the celebration.

Karan Boolani, actor Anil Kapoor's son-in-law, celebrated a double occasion as his Bollywood directorial debut, 'Thank You For Coming,' graced the theaters on Friday, coincidentally marking the release on his birthday.
