Inspection Bungalow, the first Malayalam horror-comedy series, is now streaming online. You can watch the series, starring actor Shabareesh Varma in the lead, on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium. From the plot to cast, here’s everything to know about Inspection Bungalow.

Inspection Bungalow now streaming

After the thriller Kammattam, Zee5 recently announced the horror comedy series Inspection Bungalow, which started streaming on the platform at 12am on November 14, 2025. You can also watch the Malayalam series on OTTplay Premium with English subtitles.

Saiju SS has helmed this series, which stars lyricist and actor Shabareesh Varma in the lead role. Aadhya Prasad, Senthil Krishna, Saju Sreedhar, Jayan Cherthala, Sreejith Ravi, and are the other actors in the series.

Several new Malayalam movies and series are also releasing this Friday on OTT, including Senna Hegde’s Avihitham on JioHotstar and Krishand’s Sangarsha Ghadana on Sun NXT, both of which are available on OTTplay Premium as well.

What’s the plot of Inspection Bungalow

Inspection Bungalow revolves around an abandoned government building, where people were found dead. The building is feared to be haunted. But the local SHO Vishnu Madhav and his team are asked to shift to the Inspection Bungalow, as their police station is in a state of disrepair.

What happens when the cops turn up at the haunted place is explored in the series, written by Suneesh Varanadu.

The trailer gives a sneak peek of the spooky elements and fun aspects of Inspection Bungalow as the cops, led by SHO Vishnu Madhav, set out to unravel the truth. Shabareesh Varma, who was last seen in the film Sahasam, plays the lead role of SHO Vishnu, a staunch believer, in the horror comedy series.

Notably, the Malayalam horror comedy film Sumathi Valavu, starring Arjun Ashokan, dropped on the platform in September. Asif Ali’s Aabhyanthara Kuttavaali is another recent addition on Zee5. You can also watch these films on OTTplay Premium.
