Intinti Ramayanam, a web film made exclusively for the Telugu OTT platform aha, brings together three production houses - Sithara Entertainments, Ivy Productions and Maruthi Team. To stream on aha from December 16, the film stars Rahul Ramakrishna, Navya Swamy, Gangavva, Naresh, Surabhi Prabhavathi and others in pivotal roles. Ahead of its digital release, the film’s teaser was launched today. Director Maruthi is also the showrunner of this much-awaited project.

The teaser introduces you to a family with a bunch of eccentric characters who lead contrasting lives and are unapologetic about it. Beneath their wacky side, there’s an innocence and a child-like quality to them that the glimpse captures effectively. From gambling to gossiping, wooing women, riding an auto and having a drink with friends, it takes you through several activities of the family members.

In the end, they land at a police station and the cop mocks at the family members, labelling each of them eccentric and strange. What takes them to the station and what’s the cop exactly referring to? Intinti Ramayanam explores the life of a middle-clas rural family of Ramulu in the backdrop of Karimnagar. Written and directed by Suresh Naredla, the film has cinematography by PC Mouli, music by Kalyani Malik and is edited by SB Uddhav.

On his association with team Intinti Ramayanam, director Maruthi expressed his happiness on reuniting with aha after presenting 3 Roses. He assures that the film will tug at the viewer’s heartstrings and have realistic emotions. “It’s a film that’ll make you want to leave for your native place again. The simplicity of Intinti Ramayanam is its asset.”
