Now is the time for the Indian Premier League 2023, the most anticipated gaming event in the country. At the Narendra Modi Stadium's grand inauguration event on Friday, singer Arijit Singh enchanted the crowd with his hit songs, including Kesariya, Jhoome Jo Pathaan, Pyaar Hota Kayi Baar Hai, Lehra Do, Dancing Ka Bhoot, and many others.

"Melodious! How about that for a performance to kick off the proceedings? @arijitsingh opens the #TATAIPL 2023 Opening Ceremony in some style," the Indian Premier League wrote in the caption of a video of the performance that they posted on Twitter.

Fans flooded the comments with red hearts and fire emoticons as soon as the singer's videos began to appear on social media.

An admirer remarked, "Arijit, you have the most captivating voice ever."

"Marvellous," another fan commented.

Actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Rashmika Mandanna joined him at the inaugural ceremony, where both of them delivered riveting performances.

In the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the star-studded defending champion Gujarat Titans (GT) and the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings squared off to kick off the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The game pitted two generations of Indian cricketers against one another. On one side was CSK captain MS Dhoni, who in the late 2000s and early 2010s propelled Indian cricket to new heights of success by winning the first ICC T20 World Cup (2007), ICC Cricket World Cup (2011), and ICC Champions Trophy (2013) and became the first captain to do so.

The T20 cricket spectacle will take place at 12 different locations, with the tournament's opening match taking place on March 31 at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium and its championship game taking place there on May 28.

IPL 2023 games will be held in Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati (the second home of the Royals), Dharamsala, and Guwahati.

Day matches will begin at 3:30 p.m. IST, while night matches will start at 7:30 p.m. IST. The matches will be played according to two different timetables.
