Today, at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Kolkata Knight Riders is clashing with Lucknow Super Giants at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. To add charm to the cricket match, notable Bollywood celebrities have descended to the city to cheer for the cricketers. Shah Rukh Khan, the Badshah of Bollywood, is among those present in the stadium. As soon as he made a royal entry at the stadium, his fans started shouting his name in the hope of receiving a wave of acknowledgment. Shah Rukh Khan’s son AbRam is also present with him. Not only them, but Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is also seen sitting and chilling beside AbRam.

In case you are wondering why Shah Rukh Khan is watching the match live in the stadium, let us tell you that Kolkata Knight Riders was acquired by Red Chillies Entertainment – which is Shah Rukh Khan's film production company, in collaboration with Juhi Chawla and her husband, Jay Mehta. Thus, you can spot SRK at KKR’s cricket matches, accompanied by their families, passionately cheering for their team.
Speaking from the fashion lens, SRK and his manager Pooja Dadlani (who was also present at Eden Gardens) chose to wear jerseys in support of KKR. Ananya and AbRam, on the other hand, chose to wear simple white T-shirts with blue jeans.
Shah Rukh Khan’s presence in the stadium is being viewed in a positive limelight.
The place where all these celebrities were seated was covered under heavy security. The security is necessary, especially because of what happened at Salman Khan’s residence on Sunday morning.
Will Shah Rukh Khan meet Salman Khan today?
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan – the Bollywood superstars – are believed to be on good terms with each other. Often, they support each other in times of trouble. When SRK’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in a drug case in 2021, Salman Khan was the one who showered love and support to SRK’s family. Aryan was later granted bail.
On April 14, two motorbike-borne unidentified persons opened fire outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai. It is unlikely that SRK will visit Salman today, but his meeting with him is surely due soon.
