IPL affects the ratings of Bangla serials as Phulki slips from the top position

The ongoing IPL has clearly affected the TRP of the Bengali serials, which can be seen in this week's result. The topper got only 7.8. Phulki has been the topper for the last two weeks, giving a tough fight to two Zee Bangla serials, Neem Phuler Madhu and Jagaddhatri. But this week, Neem Phuler Madhu was the topper. Phulki is the second, scoring 7.6, and Jagaddhatri, being the third, scored only 7.3. You can watch all these three serials on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. 

According to sources, the character of Jagaddhatri will be shown as pregnant. The new promo shows her falling with a head spin. This news might increase the serial’s TRP. It might make her the Bengal topper once again. Jagaddhatri has made a huge contribution in the last two years behind Zee Bangla's success story. 

Neem Phuler Madhu and Kon Gopone mon Bheseche had a grand meeting episode as the Holi special. Its TRP was the highest this week, 8.7. Srijan-Parna and Aniket-Shyamali's presence attracted the audience. On the other hand, Mithijhora's Basanta Ese Geche episode got only 4.3.

The new serial Jogmaya got only 3.5 this week. Badhua got 5.1, which is not bad against Phulki. Mili got 3.6. Mili is going to end and in its 10 PM slot, Mithijhora is coming opposite Haragouri Pice Hotel. In Mithijhora's 9.30 PM slot, Kar Kache Koi Moner Kotha is coming. Zee's new serial Ashtami will start at the 6.30 PM slot to contest Geeta LLB, the current Star Jalsa topper.
