Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare’s reception – WATCH Rekha kiss Hema Malini | Longtime friends share special moment

Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan finally got married to her long-term boyfriend Nupur Shikhare on January 10, 2024, in an extravagant way. Both the families followed Marathi tradition, and Nupur made some unforgettable memories by jogging to the marriage venue in a tank t-shirt and shorts and sport shoes. It was not only unique, but also surprising to watch Nupur actually running on the road.

Wedding reception

Today on January 13, the couple celebrated their reception in Mumbai. Although they had an intimate wedding, the reception is not private at all. From West to South, celebrities are seen shimmering at the reception with their families. Juhi Chawla, Anil Kapoor, Sachin Tendulkar, Naga Chaitanya, Suriya, Dharmendra, Riteish Deshmukh with wife Genelia D'Souza, Sushmita Sen, Farhan Akhtar with her sister Zoya Akhtar, and many more are seen in vibrant attire.

Rekha and Hema Malini's grand entry

The most striking arrival that caught our attention was Hema Malini and Rekha’s entry. The veteran duo was seen together for almost like a decade long. No doubt it was amazing and nostalgic to watch the legendary duo in beautiful traditional attire. While Hema Malini is seen wearing a lavender coloured silk saree, Rekha is seen in a bright red and purple combination Kanjivaram saree, paired with lots of gold jewellery.

The sweet gesture melted our hearts

Rekha and Hema Malini, the two legends of Indian cinema, finally met up after such a long time. It was such a nostalgic moment, we felt like our hearts were dancing like butterflies! A big thanks to Aamir Khan and Ira Khan for making it happen! We have been waiting for ages to see these amazing veterans together again, so seeing Rekha’s warm kiss on Hema Malini's cheek for the cameras absolutely made our day.

Rekha and Hema Malini's collaborations

Rekha and Hema Malini last collaborated in Sadiyaan in 2010. Although the movie did not do well at the box office, it had also other legends like late Rishi Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, and Deep Dhillon in pivotal roles. Rekha and Hema Malini's other movies like - Gora Aur Kala (1972), Dharmatma (1975), Apne Apne (1987) were one of the top grossers of that time.
