Dominique Thorne headlines the new Marvel series Ironheart, based on the character introduced in Black Panther Wakanda Forever, which has now got a streaming date. Produced by Ryan Coogler, the 6-episode show follows MIT student Riri Williams upon her return to Chicago after the events of Wakanda Forever and her pursuit to create something iconic.
Ironheart will premiere with a 3-episode drop on June 24, 2025 on Disney+, meaning that audiences in India will have access to it on June 25 on JioHotstar. Ahead of the new series launch, Marvel revealed the trailer of Ironheart, in which Riri meets a potential investor in the mysterious Parker Robbins (Anthony Ramos) aka The Hood.

Ironheart is the 14th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the last in Phase 5, which began with Secret Invasion in June 2023. The other TV series include WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…? Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, She Hulk: Attorney At Law, Secret Invasion, Echo, Agatha All Along, Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man and Daredevil Born Again. Barring Loki and What If…? none of the others have had a second season yet.

Marvel’s Phase 6 will have Eyes of Wakanda, Marvel Zombies, Wonder Man, Vision Quest and the second seasons of Daredevil and Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, with the latter already commissioned for a third as well. Recently, Jeremy Renner, who played Hawkeye in the Marvel movies and series, revealed that he did not sign up for a second season of the show because he could not come to an agreement on his payment.
