Is Karan Johar all set to direct Salman Khan in his next? Says report

Bollywood star Salman Khan and the fe stival of Eid are as synonymous with each other as pen and pencil. Of late, there has hardly been any Eid day when a Salman Khan film was not released and set the cash registers ringing. This year is no different at all. This year will see the grand release of Salman Khan starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, which also happens to be one of the most eagerly awaited films of the recent times.

Post the release of Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, it becomes needless to say that all the eyes will be trained of his next release. If a news report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then, hearing this will surely sound like music to the ears of every Salman Khan fan! The said news reported a source ‘spilling the beans’ over Salman Khan’s next film. The source report stated, “Eid has been synonymous with Salman Khan since Wanted (2009). The Republic Day and Diwali slots have been taken over by some big films in 2024. But no one will dare to take up the Eid release date as it’s common knowledge that Salman Khan will come up with a film on the festival.”

The same source added in the report that, as of now, ‘Salman Khan has been looking for scripts and once it’s locked, he will be taking the film to floors and that Karan Johar is in talks with Salman Khan for a big-budget film. The report also added that, the film in question, is, at present at a nascent stage right now and that all details about the script, director etc have been kept under wraps.

As for ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, besides Salman Khan, the film also stars an array of actors including Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, agapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar. The film has been scheduled to have a theatrical release on April 21, 2023. While ‘Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ is a Salman Khan Film production, it has been directed by Farhad Samji and will have a Zee Studios worldwide release.
