Is Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 getting postponed?

The makers of one of the year's most anticipated films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, have confirmed that the film's release date has not been postponed and will take place on the same date as previously announced.

Taran Adarsh confirmed the story on his Twitter page by writing, "NO POSTPONEMENT: 'BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2' TO RELEASE ON SAME DATE... #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 to release on its earlier announced date [25 March 2022]... In *cinemas*... Stars #KartikAaryan, #KiaraAdvani and #Tabu... Directed by #AneesBazmee... Produced by #BhushanKumar and #MuradKhetani."

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the sequel to the same-named comedic supernatural thriller drama. The first half of the film was a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Manichitrathazhu, which starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Ameesha Patel, among others.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani will star in the sequel. Unlike the first film, which was directed by Priyadarshan, this one will be directed by Anees Bazmee.

Rajpal Yadav will reprise his role as Chhote Pandit, and Tabu will play a key role in the film.

Earlier, while talking about casting Kartik in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Anees had said in an interview that the ensemble is all fresh, and Kartik has been one of my favourite actors since his first film. 

The filmmaker revealed that they would meet up at parties; other times, they would be filming in London at the same time, so they would meet up in coffee shops. Anees also added that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's script was one of Kartik's favourites.

Regarding Kiara, the No Entry helmer shared that he had seen a lot of films featuring Kiara and revealed that she was a good actor, even though they considered a lot of female actors for the role. Finally, they approached Kiara, who agreed right away. 

Tabu and Anees had wanted to collaborate for a long time but had never had the chance. 

Under the aegis of T-Series and Cine 1, Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar are producing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
