Is Kiara Advani not playing the leading lady in Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Salaar 2? Here’s what we know

The journey of stunning Kiara Advani has been nothing short of being exceptional. After having started off her career in showbiz with Fugly, Kiara went onto do films like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kabir Singh, Shershaah, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and others, which simply consolidated her position as one of the front runners for the ‘queen bee’ crown in Bollywood.

Besides Bollywood, Kiara Advani has been equally successful in regional films as well. Speaking of regional films, one of the most eagerly awaited films of her career is Salaar 2, which stars the inimitable duo of Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran. All the fans and followers of Kiara Advani were super excited to see her as the leading lady in the film. It seems that Kiara's fans will have to be disappointed now.

Kiara Advani not a part of Salaar 2 Shouryaanga Parvam’?

The reason? Well… as per a source-based report in Pinkvilla, it has been said that the casting of Kiara Advani in the film ‘Salaar 2 Shouryaanga Parvam’ was nothing more than a mere rumour, even though there were many who claimed that she has been signed as the leading lady in the film. The said news report stated that, contrary to the strong rumours, Kiara Advani will not be a part of the film.

For the uninitiated, Salaar 2 Shouryaanga Parvam happens to be the sequel of Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, which starred Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Bobby Simha, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. The film was directed by ‘KGF’ fame Prasanth Neel. And as per the aforementioned reports, the film’s sequel will comprise mostly the actors from the first part, who will be reprising their roles in the sequel as well.

As for Kiara Advani, she has got her plates full as of date. The actress has just wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming Telugu film Game Changer. This political thriller, which has Ram Charan as the leading man, will be directed by the ace director Shankar.

On the other hand, Prabhas is now super busy with the shooting of his most awaited magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD, which is being directed by Nag Aswin. Besides Prabhas, the film also stars stellar actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and others.
