Is Munawar Faruqui a part of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 16? Here’s what we know so far

Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui might just happen to join Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 16 soon. The stand-up comedian, who is currently caught up between his shows and music videos, promised his fans he would do something every two months and so, it looks like he will also be a part of another reality show. Munawar has reportedly been approached for Bigg Boss.

A report on BollywoodLife states that Munawar Faruqui might just end up on Bigg Boss 16. He was in fact in talks for Bigg Boss OTT 2 as well but it looks like that show is delayed.

Since Munawar could not be a part of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 despite wanting to participate on the show, he might as well be a part of Bigg Boss 16. The comedian is known to deliver on his promises, at least most of the times and thus, he is likely to join Bigg Boss 16.

Munawar rose to immense fame after winning Kangana Ranaut-hosted show Lock Upp. The comedian, who was otherwise associated with a controversy, was in the public eye and eventually, he picked up the trophy, leaving Payal Rohatgi as the runner-up of the show.

Ever since, Munawar has been in demand for many reality shows. He was almost finalized for Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. Unfortunately, though, Munawar faced a hiccup when his visa was declined. Without revealing the reason, Munawar revealed that he is extremely upset that he could not participate in the reality show which would show his daredevil side.

After winning Lock Upp, Munawar won a car, Rs. 20 lakhs and a fully-paid trip to Italy. This is apart from winning the first ever trophy of Ekta Kapoor’s Lock Upp.
