If the buzz in the industry is to go by, Pradeep Ranganathan's next with director Vignesh Shivan, is said to be their dropped project Love Insurance Corporation (LIC).

Vignesh Shivan revives the project after the ouster from AK 62?
It is well known that after his film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vignesh Shivan was supposed to direct Ajith's next, which was then being referred to as AK 62. The director, who happens to be a huge fanboy of the actor, has shared his excitement about the same. However, we hear that Lyca Productions, which was bankrolling the film, wasn't quite happy with the final script which led to Vignesh Shivan's ouster from the project.

Vignesh Shivan didn't announce any new project until his birthday in September. It is said that the director was working on reviving his dropped project LIC. The plot was said to be revolving around a person, who travels forward in time through mobile phones and gadgets to meet his love. However the project eventually got dropped due to its high budget.

Pradeep on a high after Love Today
Pradeep Ranganathan, who made his directorial debut with Comali, had a dream run with his sophomore project, in which he also played the lead. The film, which had Ivana as the leading lady and was bankrolled by AGS Production, went on to become a blockbuster. Since then the actor-director has been in demand.

The new film announcement
Vignesh Shivan and Pradeep Ranganathan dropped an announcement on their next project on the former's birthday in September. The duo dropped a quirky video in which Pradeep is offering dates to Vignesh Shivan.

The untitled project is said to have Jigarthanda Double X actor SJ Suryah in a crucial role. The film will be produced by Seven Screen Studio, who bankrolled Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's latest outing Leo.
