Is Shah Rukh Khan working on a new project with Punit Malhotra? Here’s what we know

One of the most adored celebrities in the world is Shah Rukh Khan. Following his enormous success with Pathaan, filmmakers from many sectors are lining up to collaborate with him. Director of Student of the Year 2 Punit Malhotra surprised his fans on social media on Wednesday morning by posting a black-and-white photo of SRK from the set. 

Taking to Instagram, Punit shared the picture which he captioned, “There are days that make it all worth it. Just to be on set with the man… the charm, the charisma, the humility and the love is unmatchable! Thank you @iamsrk sir for all that you do and for being so gracious.”

Punit could be seen guiding King Khan in the picture as the actor listened to him with patience. Fans of SRK flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons as soon as he shared the photo.

A fan wrote, “Always so Jawan. Our Shah Rukh Khan.” Another one wrote, "Best of luck punit sir @punitdmalhotra he is my mentor and my inspiration SRK."

Shah Rukh is currently busy filming his eagerly anticipated movie, Jawan. He recently announced a revised release date for the movie, which was originally scheduled to hit theatres on June 2. The new release date is September 7th. It is directed by Atlee and features Nayanthara in a significant part. 

Shah Rukh also has Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He recently finished filming with Taapsee Pannu in Kashmir. Christmas 2023 will see the release of the movie. 

In addition to these flicks, SRK will make a special appearance in Tiger 3, which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Salman Khan, and Katrina. For their scenes, Salman and Shah Rukh have already begun filming.
