Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan are gearing up for the release of their film, Shaitaan. Last month, the makers released the teaser of the horror film and today they unveiled the trailer of the movie. A grand trailer launch event was held in Mumbai, in the presence of Ajay, R Madhavan, Jyotika, and others. At the event, the producer of Shaitaan hinted at a sequel to director Vikas Bahl's movie.

Shaitaan 2 to be made? Kumar Mangat Pathak reveals

At the trailer launch of Shaitaan, Kumar Mangat Pathak revealed that the film, starring Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R Madhavan was shot in 40 days. Teasing a second installment of the movie, he said, "Part 2 bhi humaare dimaag mein taiyaar hai (Part 2 is ready in our mind)."

On the other hand, Ajay Devgn spoke about doing a horror film after a long time. The actor said he loved the script of Shaitaan and became a part of it as he wanted to do a horror film since a long time. "I love this genre. Everybody connects with the genre," he said.

Further, when Ajay was asked if he had experienced hypnosis in real life, the actor admitted that it had happened to him during outdoor schedules of films. However, the actor hasn't seen it in the last 10 to 12 years.

Meanwhile, the trailer of Shaitaan dropped today on YouTube. It gives us a glimpse of how R Madhavan's character creates havoc in Ajay and Jyotika's peaceful life with their daughter. It sheds light on how Madhavan's character hypnotizes Ajay and Jyotika's daughter to the extent that she slaps herself and even hits her father.

Shaitaan has been directed by filmmaker Vikas Bahl while the film is jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Jyoti Deshpande. On the other hand, Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music of the movie. It is set to release in cinemas on March 8, 2024.
