Is Solanki Roy the new entry in Neeraj Pandey’s Khakee?

After the success of Khakee: The Bihar Chapter on Netflix, it has been reported that Bollywood director Neeraj Pandey has planned a new web series in the backdrop of West Bengal. Now, sources say that Solanki Roy has been cast in the series.

As per a report on Anandabazar Online, this time, Neeraj will make a cop drama in the backdrop of Kolkata and Solanki may also play a key character. It was heard that Tollywood superstars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Jeet will play the two protagonists. Parambrata Chatterjee and Saswata Chatterjee were also offered to act in the project, but none of them commented anything regarding this. However, in such a big-budget series, Solanki’s presence among the A-listers of Tollywood can be seen as a positive move in her career.

Solanki came to the spotlight with her serial Icche Nodi. Then after some time, she entered the cinema. Her acting in the films Baba Baby O and Sohorer Ushnotomo Dine was acclaimed. She now concentrates on films and the web. She frequently goes to Mumbai and gives auditions regularly. It is heard that she was selected through an audition.

The makers have not yet announced the casting of the series. It is heard that many Tollywood actors are in the series. But the entire matter is kept secret. The shooting may start in June in Kolkata.
