Is Tabu gearing up to play the lead in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next?

The actress will be also seen in a major role in Kuttey, which is the directorial debut of Vishal’s son Aasmaan Bharadwaj

Bollywood actress Tabu is reportedly collaborating with the popular filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj again. The duo has proven to be a great team after the blockbuster hits Maqbool and Haider. According to a report in the Times of India, the actress has been roped in for the next directorial venture of Vishal, which will be an action entertainer.

It is also interesting to note that Vishal’s son Aasmaan Bharadwaj has also cast Tabu as one of the leads in his directorial debut. The thriller titled as Kuttey also features Arjun Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan and Shardul Bhardwaj.

Talking to IANS about his son’s debut, Vishal had recently said that the movie will be extremely special to him. The father seems to be very excited to see what his son delivers with his directorial. The film Kuttey will also see Vishal Bhardwaj Films and Luv Films collaborating for the first time. 


The filmmaker further said that he admires Luv’s bravery towards filmmaking and his strong commercial sense. As the senior director has already worked with the stellar cast members on different projects already, he is happy that his son has brought all of them together on the big screen for Kuttey.

Meanwhile, Bollywood’s beloved actress Tabu has a handful of projects in her kitty. She will be playing the lead role alongside Ayushman Khurrana and Radhika Apte in the movie Shoot the Piano Player. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is another highly anticipated venture in which the actress has a different but major role. The Karthik Aaryan starrer is a sequel to Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
