This popular Tamil director, who had previously helmed a Silambarasan-starrer, is likely to make his Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who has been busy promoting his upcoming horror thriller Shaitaan, reportedly in talks with a popular Tamil director for his next project. According to a few Tamil reports, director Krishna, who is known for his previous films Pathu Thala and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, is all set to foray into Bollywood soon! The reports also suggest that the director is in talks with actor Ajay Devgn to play the lead role.
Production house Studio Green, who had recently opened its Mumbai office, is in talks to bankroll the director’s first Hindi project. Although an official confirmation is awaited, the update has left the fans very excited. Nonetheless, let's hope for the exciting announcement from the makers themselves soon!
Meanwhile, Studio Green’s upcoming Tamil period drama Kanguva, headlined by Suriya, has been awaiting a release date. Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva is the most ambitious project of Studio Green production banner.
After his last release Pathu Thala, starring Silambarasan TR, the director has not announced any upcoming projects yet. Interestingly, Pathu Thala, is the official adaptation of Kannada film Mufti, starring Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar. Initially, Pathu Thala was supposed to be directed by Narthan, who directed the original in Kannada, but due to unknown reasons, he was replaced by Krishna. It stars Silambarasan, Gautham Karthick, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in lead roles.
Meanwhile, the Bollywood star is all set for the release of his upcoming horror thriller Shaitaan. The film, which stars Jyothika, Janki and R Madhavan, was inspired from the Gujarati movie Vash. Apart from the lead cast, the movie stars Anngad Raaj in the role of Ajay's son. The remake is directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Ajay and Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
