Isha Talwar on Mirzapur 3: 'Expect nothing but drama'

Fans of Mirzapur series can’t keep calm as the latest season of the series can be out anytime soon! Viewers of the series are eagerly waiting to witness the intense rivalry between Kaleen Bhaiyaa and Guddu – the popular fictional characters who have a strong base in the city of Mirzapur.

Speaking on the development, actress Isha Talwar has asserted that fans won’t be left disappointed after watching the series.

The actress plays the role of Madhuri Yadav. In season 3, as reported by news agency IANS, she will be seen as Munna Bhaiyaa's widow and will be taking on Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Golu Gupta (Shweta Tripathi Sharma) to avenge her husband's death.

Isha, as reported by IANS, said: "Madhuri Yadav, as we already saw in season 2, had almost snatched power towards the end from Kaleen bhaiya essayed by the wonderful Panjak Tripathi for reasons best known to her."

"When you take on such an important character in the show, please expect nothing but great drama! This next bit can be left for another story closer to the show because the audience is still confused about Munna's death - I know this from personal experience," she adds.

For those completely unaware about the storyline of the series, here’s a toast! The film is about a man named Akhandanand Tripathi (also known as Kaleen bhaiyaa), who made millions by exporting carpets and became the mafia boss of Mirzapur. His son Munna, an unworthy, power-hungry heir, joins his father’s hands to continue his legacy.

The first episode of the series came out in November 2018 and has remained in buzz since then. The second season of Mirzapur came out in November 2020. This cult series is directed by Karan Anshuman, Gurmeet Singh, and Mihir Desai.
