Ishq Next Door trailer: Natasha Bhardwaj and Abhay Mahajan starrer looks like a breath of fresh air

Natasha Bhardwaj, Abhay Mahajan, and Mrinal Dutt along with YouTube sensation Purav Jha to star in a Hindi-language show 'Ishq Next Door'. It is one of the shows that were unveiled at the Jio Studios event that took place on April 12, 2023 at the Jio Convention Centre. Jio Studio and Rusk Studio are the production companies for Ishq Next Door. 

Today, on July 23, makers of the show released the trailer. In classic romantic story, the trailer unveils the strength of real love. Dev, played by Abhay Mahajan, enjoys a straightforward and contented existence while taking care of his mother and his disobedient younger brother. When Dev meets Meher Kaur Sikka, fate decides to spice up his monotonous existence. Meanwhile, Ashwin, another intriguing character, shows up in style to add colour and complexity to Dev's life.

In an interview, Abhay Mahajan spoke about the show. The Print quoted him saying: “When I read the script, I felt an instant connection with the simple yet powerful story and just knew that I had to be a part of it. It has been an extremely satisfying experience portraying Dev. He’s someone every individual can relate to. He’s simple, dutiful, rooted in reality, but somewhere a dreamer whose hopeful and passionate side is unleashed by the girl-next-door, Meher. It’s a simple story, but sometimes the simplest stories are the hardest to do justice to. I am grateful to the entire team for bringing their A-game every single day and helping each of us grow as actors. As an actor, I had the opportunity to portray a character with layers of emotions and conflicts, which made the experience truly fulfilling.”

‘Ishq Next Door’ will start streaming on Jio Cinema on July 3, 2023.
