The makers of Allu Arjun's Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers and director Sukumar were questioned by the IT officials
Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2- The Rule is one of the most awaited films in recent times. The shooting was going in full swing but the proceedings hit a roadblock as the producers, Mythri Movie Makers were raided by IT officials at their Hyderabad office. The Raids which happened for three long days in total have now been completed.
We have now come to know from our sources that the production house has come clean as they have proved that whatever money they made in the last year or so was legal and they paid all the taxes properly. News came out that the IT department found a lot of discrepancies in the accounts of the production house and they would land in big trouble.
But all that has been slammed by one of the sources from the team. He has mentioned that no irregularities were found in the accounts of the production house. Well, the source also added that the shoot which was halted will go back on floors soon. Allu Arjun was shooting for an action sequence when the shoot got halted. Sukumar's office was also raided and he too has come clean as per the news.
Pushpa 2 is being produced on a budget of over 300 crores and as Mythri Movie Makers scored two huge successes with Waltair Veerayya(Chiranjeevi) and Veera Simha Reddy(Balakrishna), doubts were created about their earnings in the last year or so. News also came out that there is a political angle in these IT Raids but all those have been cleared as the banner has got a clean chit now.
