Ithiri Neram: Roshan Mathew-Zarin Shihab film to hit the big screen on this date

An update regarding the theatrical release of Ithiri Neram, the upcoming Malayalam film, was released by the makers today (October 27). The first week of November has been set as the release date for the feel-good drama, which stars Roshan Mathew and Zarin Shihab in the key roles.

The movie's November 7 theatrical release date has been revealed with a new poster. The main actors are shown clutching each other joyfully as they stroll along a roadside in this poster. On the same day, Althaf Salim's Innocent will also be released. Anarkali Marikar, Joemon Jyothir, Mithun Ramesh, Azees Nedumangad, Anna Prasad, and Sethu Lakshmi all play important roles in this comedy, which was directed by Satheesh Thanvi.

The recently-released teaser begins with Roshan Mathew's character, Anish Thomas, introducing himself and conducting a video interview with social activist Maitreya Maitreyan. The latter is seen talking about the social structure of our community. "If you look closely, every home is an antisocial establishment. In a modern civilisation, this framework ought to be reconstructed," he said. Anish is soon forced to speak to the show's sponsors, which clearly shows how uninterested he is in the job. Rekhachithram star Zarin plays Anish's first love, Anjana S. Kumar, whom Anish eventually encounters in the teaser, bringing back emotions of their time together. Many online viewers have compared the film's plot to that of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha's 96.

The film was directed by Prasanth Vijay. Ithiri Neram, which also stars Nandu and Anand Manmadhan in supporting parts, was written by Vishak Shakti. With the catchphrase "made with passion, sweat, and tears" on the poster that was posted online, the directors praised the film as a love story that everyone could relate to.
