It's A Medical Miracle: Mamitha Baiju announces buddy Sangeeth Prathap's first film as lead

Sangeeth Prathap has been receiving much love for his role in Premalu, even a year after the release of Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju’s romantic comedy. The actor, who was last seen in Bromance, is gearing up to play his first lead role. Mamitha Baiju has now announced the film, It's A Medical Miracle, and also unveiled the first look of Sangeeth Prathap. Read on to know more details. 

Mamitha Baiju announces Sangeeth Prathap's It's A Medical Miracle

Taking to Instagram on March 1, Mamitha Baiju announced that Sangeeth Prathap will be seen in It's A Medical Miracle in the lead role. While sharing the announcement, Mamitha also wrote that she was so “happy and proud to announce this one”.  

She also shared a poster of Sangeeth Prathap that showed the actor in a hospital room, in a patient gown. He is seen standing on the other side of a sliding glass door, giving an enlarged appearance to his ears. He has a bewildered expression on his face.  

Shyamin Gireesh will be directing It's A Medical Miracle, which is produced by Anirudh SB and has music by Mujeeb Majeed. Sanu Thahir is the DOP, while Chamman Chako is the editor. 

Nileen Sandra, who has penned the film, also shared the first-look poster and wrote in caption, “Some people have big ears... He has super ones!! A glimpse into a world where sound is power, and secrets don’t stay hidden.” It is interesting to note that both the poster and Nileen’s caption highlight the ‘big’ ears.  

Premalu effect

Sangeeth Prathap shot to fame after he starred as Amal Davis in Premalu, which is now streaming on JioHotstar. The romantic-comedy film was a success not just in Kerala, but also wooed audiences in Hyderabad.

Sangeeth was last seen in Bromance, starring Mathew Thomas, and Arjun Ashokan, along with Mahima Nambiar, Shyam Mohan, and Kalabhavan Shajohn. Sangeeth as ethical hacker Hariharasudhan delivered a standout performance in the film.
