The shooting for Marvel’s Thor: Love And Thunder has come to an end. The film will be the fourth installment in the series of Thor movies after Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017). Chris Hemsworth, who plays the titular character in the films, shared the news on his Instagram page along with a photo of him and director Taika Waititi.
In the behind-the-scenes picture shared by Hemsworth, the filmmaker can be seen posing with the on-screen Thor. It seems there’s a reason to rejoice for all the fans of Hemsworth who didn’t dig his beer belly avatar in Avengers: Endgame.
Sharing the image on ‘National Don’t Flex Day’, Chris wrote, “That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder. It’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate. The film is gonna be batshit crazy, off the wall funny and might also pull a heart string or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready and see ya in cinemas!! @taikawaititi @marvelstudios @jasinboland.”

If this picture is just a glimpse of what Thor: Love And Thunder has to offer, the MCU fans are definitely in for a treat.
Hemsworth has earlier worked with Waititi in Thor: Ragnarok, which is one of the most loved films in the franchise featuring Thor and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
Also starring Karen Gillan, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Matt Damon, Russell Crowe, Melissa McCarthy, Sam Neill, Sean Gunn, Jaimie Alexander and Christian Bale in pivotal roles, Thor: Love And Thunder is slated to hit the theatres on May 6, 2022.
The film is likely to release on Disney+Hotstar (Disney is now associated with Marvel) either with the theatrical release or soon after it.
