The End, Taxiwaala director Rahul Sankrityan's upcoming film, Shyam Singha Roy, touted to be a reincarnation saga, wrapped its shoot earlier today. Starring Nani, Krithi Shetty, Sai Pallavi and Madonna Sebastian in the key roles, the film, produced by Venkat Boyanapalli, was shot on a lavish scale, set amidst a West Bengal backdrop. The team overcame several hurdles during the shoot including the second wave of COVID-19, a set being ravaged by heavy rains and still finished its filming without major delays.

The post-production of Shyam Singha Roy has already begun and reportedly, the film will have extensive VFX portions. The film was shot largely in West Bengal besides a temple-set where the culture and the ambience of the region were recreated. The supporting cast includes Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Jishu Sen Gupta, Leela Samson, Manish Wadwa and Barun Chanda.

Shyam Singha Roy's technical crew comprises composer Mickey J Meyer, cinematographer Sanu John Varghese and editor Naveen Nooli. Satyadev Junga has penned the story for the same. The film marks the second collaboration of actors Nani and Sai Pallavi after Middle Class Abbayi. Nani is also awaiting the release of the family entertainer Tuck Jagadish soon. The makers of Tuck Jagadish recently quashed all rumours about the film's direct-to-OTT release and confirmed that it would only hit theatres first.
