Rakshit Atluri, who shot to fame with the comedy London Babulu and the rural drama Palasa 1978, is gearing up for his next release Sasivadane. Komalee Prasad plays the female lead in the action romance that also stars Raghu Kunche, popular Tamil actor Sriman, Kannada actor Deepak Prince and 'Rangasthalam' Mahesh. Written and directed by debutant Saimohan Ubbana, the film is bankrolled by Ahiteja Bellamkonda under SVS Constructions Pvt. Ltd. and AG Film Company. Gauri Naidu is the presenter.

The drama, set amidst the Godavari backrop, has officially wrapped up filming. Barring three days of patch work, the shoot of Sasivadane is complete. The project was filmed in several scenic, beautiful locations across Konaseema, Amalapuram over a 50 day span. In an official statement, the makers shared that Konaseema offered them an excellent shoot experience, leaving them with a lot of pleasant memories. 

Earlier today, the team also unveiled a video where where large swathes of fields and trees are captured aesthetically, asserting how they got their act right with the visuals. A source shares that the on-screen camaraderie between Rakshit Atluri and Komalee Prasad has shaped up well on the screen. Edited by Garry BH, the film has cinematography by Saikumar Dara. Joshua and Jeevan are the stunt directors while Saravana Vasudevan is the music director. Gauri Naidu handles costume design.

Komalee Prasad also featured in Amazon Prime Video's Telugu anthology Modern Love Hyderabad in a segment helmed by C/O Kancharapalem maker Venkatesh Maha. Rowdy Boys and Sebastian PC524 were her other releases this year. While Rowdy Boys is streaming on ZEE5, Sebastian PC524 can be watched on aha.
