Siva Nageswara Rao, a filmmaker known for his unusual comedies and entertainers like Money, Sisindri and Mr and Mrs Sailaja Krishnamurthy, is on a comeback trail. The veteran, who dabbled with a brief stint in television recently, is back with another dark comedy Dochevaarevarura, starring Ajay Ghosh, Bithiri Sathi, Pranava Chandra, Malavika Satheesan in the lead.
Dochevaarevarura is produced by Boddu Koteswara Rao under IQ Creations. The story of the film was inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s The Kid, The Godfather revolving around money, chastity, life, love and comedy, the maker said in a recent interview. As per latest reports, the team has announced that Dochevaarevarura has wrapped up shoot and is aiming for a release in October.
The film was shot at a brisk pace. The filming was completed with song shoot at a set recently erected in Ramoji Film City. Shankar master had choreographed the song shot on the film’s leading lady Malavika Satheesan. Siva Nageswara Rao’s good-old friend and filmmaker Teja apparently gave a few creative inputs for the number, the makers shared.
“Given the rapport that he shares with director Siva Nageswara Rao, the team took it in the right spirit and shot the number on a lavish scale,” a source informs. The post production formalities for the film have commenced already and the team is aiming at a release in October. Rohit Vardhan is scoring the music for the entertainer.
Director Siva Nageswara Rao even turned a lyricist for a song in Dochevaarevarura titled Sulle Baku. Mano and Sunaina had crooned for the number. One of the film’s lead actors Pranava Chandra is the son of well-known lyricist Chaitanya Prasad, who had written numbers like Priyathama Priyathama, Pilla Raa in the recent past. The film marks Siva Nageswara Rao’s return to feature films after six years - his last release was Over Action in 2016.
