It's (Insta) official! Chris Evans and Alba Baptista are in a relationship

What did we just hear? The sound of a million hearts breaking across the world! Captain America star Chris Evans just made his relationship with actress Alba Baptista official on Instagram.

Earlier today, Chris took to his Instagram stories to upload a hilarious video in which he and Alba are seen pranking each other. He captioned the video "A look back at 2022 ❤️❤️❤️".

Chris (41) and Alba (25) have reportedly been dating for a year, but the two have never spoken about their relationship.

In November 2022, Chris was announced People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. In the interview to the magazine, the Captain America star had hinted that he is ready to settle down. "When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them (admit) it wasn’t the work they made (that they are most proud of), it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared. So, it's also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important. I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can't think of anything better," he told the magazine.

Chris, who was rumoured to be dating Selena Gomez last year, has earlier dated actresses Jessica Biel, Jenny Slate and Minka Kelly.

Alba, a predominantly Portuguese actor, has starred mainly in Portuguese-language films and TV shows. She made her English-language debut in the Netflix series, Warrior Nun.

Chris is currently filming the Amazon Prime Video action-comedy film Red One, which also stars Dwayne Johnson.
