The trio, along with Maxwell Jacob Friedman are making quite headlines nowadays for playing the world famous Von Erich brothers in their upcoming thriller-drama, The Iron Claw.
About The Iron Claw
The movie is based on the true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early '80s. The movie will be showing about their tragedy and triumph, under the shadow of their domineering father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on the biggest stage in sports.
While talking to Entertainment Weekly, Zac, Jeremy and Harris shared that though they are not blood relatives, after doing the movie, they became like actual brothers. They shared that these days, they mostly hang out and play around together. No wonder, they clearly expressed their gratitude to the The Iron Claw makers.
While sharing about their shooting for the movie, Harris confessed that at some point, he felt foolish when their wrestling coach instructed them to go home and practice by punching pillows.
What did Zac share?
“It just doesn't seem like this could all happen to one family.” Efron shared, “There's a huge element of the movie that's, of course, about wrestling and the showmanship aspect. But really, at its core, this movie's an incredible story about family, love, loss, and ultimately the triumph of a man who tries to break the cycle of this crazy curse."
This is the very first time for the 4 actors – Zac, Jeremy, Harris and Maxwell to set foot into a wrestling ring. They had no proper idea about the wrestling world, and The Iron Claw made keenly invested into it.
