After a series of speculations, it's finally confirmed that Dhanush's next is with director Shekhar Kammula. The film is a trilingual (releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi) and the puja ceremony was held today in a grand manner in Hyderabad. The film, which is yet to get a title, will be bankrolled by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banner of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP.

The production house shared the news on its social media handle, "The Remarkable Moment is here for the Path Breaking Combo Superstar @dhanushkraja Director @sekharkammula TRILINGUAL FILM Launched today on a Grand Note with a pooja ceremony FILMING BEGINS SOON #NarayanaDasNarang @AsianSuniel @puskurrammohan @SVCLLP #AmigosCreations (sic)."  Dhanush was seen sporting long hair and beard for the puja ceremony.

In the meantime, Dhanush is shooting for Arun Matheswaran's action entertainer Captain Miller. The film is said to be an action-packed project with Priyanka Mohan as the leading lady and Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken and Elango Kumaravel as part of the star cast. The film is said to be a big-budgeted project and Dhanush is likely to be seen in a revolutionary avatar in the film. Music for the film is by GV Prakash Kumar.

Dhanush is also awaiting the release of his maiden Telugu release Sir (Vaathi in Tamil). The film is directed by Venky Atluri and Dhanush plays a teacher in it who tries to reform the educational system. The plot is said to be set in the 1980s. Dhanush has had a spate of releases this year, including the Russo Brothers The Gray Man, Mithran Jawahar's Thiruchitrambalam and Selvaraghavan's Naane Varuven. Shekhar Kammula's last outing was Love Story, which had Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead. The plot revolved around caste discrimination and opened to positive reviews but failed to make an impact at the box office.
