It’s official! Disney+ Hotstar’s Telugu show Parampara set to return for the second season

Parampara, the Telugu web show that streamed on Disney+ Hotstar in December 2021, is returning for a season two. The show, produced by Baahubali makers Prasad Devineni and Shobu Yarlagadda of Arka Media, was helmed by Krishna Vijay L and Viswanath Arigela. It stars Naveen Chandra, Sarathkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Aakanksha Singh in key roles.

The streaming platform announcing the season 2 on their social media handles wrote, “Revenge comes back darker and stronger! The wait for the biggest rivalry is over. Get set for #ParamparaAgain. Season 2, coming soon, only on @DisneyPlusHS” However, they are yet to come up with a release date and announce the number of episodes.

The video released by the platform showcases how many viewers who watched the first season were demanding a sequel for it besides offering a sneak-peek into characters played by Sarathkumar and Jagapathi Babu. Kasthuri, Aamani, Aakanksha Singh, Murali Mohan, Shri Tej and Ishaan too play important roles in Parampara.

The show revolves around the two sons of Veera Naidu - Mohana Rao and Nagendra Naidu. Naidu, unable to digest Mohan’s popularity among the masses, does best to suppress the latter’s influence. The bitterness extends to the next generation to the cousins, Suresh and Gopi. Vijay Krishna L and Hari Yeleti are the dialogue writers.
