IT’S OFFICIAL! Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s trailer to be released on July 4, Alia Bhatt drops an update

The most-awaited film of the year, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, will be released on July 28. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in titular roles, this film is directed by filmmaker Karan Johar and is produced by Dharma Productions. As per a press note by the production house, this film is created in memory of legendary filmmaker, late Yash Chopra.

While the buzz around the film is skyrocketing on a magnanimous scale, Dharma Productions today confirmed that the official trailer of the film will be out on July 4.

“4th OF JULY. The date when you get a closer look into Rocky & Rani’s prem kahaani as the TRAILER rolls out - we’re so excited for you to finally see it! #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, a film by Karan Johar in his 25th anniversary year - in cinemas on 28th July. #RRKPK,” tweeted the official handle of Dharma Productions today.

Reacting to the development, Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt did not shy away from sharing the big announcement on her social media handle. Just a while ago, 30-year-old Alia Bhatt dropped an Instagram Story, in which she smilingly conveyed that the trailer of the much-awaited romantic drama will be out on July 4. In it, Alia was spotted wearing a comfortable maroon brown-coloured jumpsuit.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, too, was unable to contain his excitement, and said, “TRAILER OUT ON 4th JULY”. In his Instagram Story, he even attached a bunch of purple hearts to convey his love for the film.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an upcoming romantic comedy family drama film directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. The film stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
